Ramen for just P150?!!! Yes, you read it right, Ramen Dojo offers an affordable ramen at P150, and no, it’s not a promo.
While several times I walked past this Quick Service Restaurant when I had my meetings at the adjacent Lava by Fudge Restaurant, it was only recently when I had the chance to dine in at Ramen Dojo.
Like any QSR, you have to go your way to the counter to place your order and pay; but, unlike any QSR, the queue here is not long. Don’t get me wrong, there were customers dining in during my visit. Perhaps because of the limited menu being offered, thinking of what to order is not a puzzle at all. Plus with the ramen craze going on across the country, most of us already know what type of ramen to order right before stepping through the doors of a ramen house.
During my visit, I ordered Spicy Sichuan — a sichuan style Ramen in chili-peppercorn broth with mild spicy level. Since I did not order any side dish and I prefer house water, I just paid P150, nothing more, nothing less. Tipid!
Soonest I got seated, the staff gave me a glass and pitcher of cold water; I know, I’ll never get thirsty during the visit haha! Kidding aside, Ramen Dojo serves a pitcher of water to its customers. This is something practical; the customers need not to ask for water refill every now and then.
Few minutes later, my ramen was served. At first I thought I can’t finish off an entire bowl; but, lo and behold, after 30 minutes, I found myself slurping the soup down to the last drop albeit perspiring a lot from the hotness and spiciness of the Sichuan Ramen.
I love everything about my Spicy Sichuan Ramen. The 2 slices of pork was enough to complement the noodle, broth, and other ingredients that made up the ramen. The mild level of spiciness was just right; but, if you want all out spicy, you can always request it when you order. Saltiness level was just right as well.
No questions asked, I definitely recommend Ramen Dojo! If you are craving for a comforting ramen without breaking the bank, get your fix at Ramen Dojo.
